BIO

Pavle Mara was born in Belgrade, Serbia in 1992. He grew up in a house on the outskirts of Belgrade surrounded by art. As his mother Marina sculpted away in her atelier, he kept her company by drawing, making clay sculptures, painting and watching her work for hours on end.  His father Petar influenced him through the photographs that covered the walls of their home, the vibrant, action packed photography brought by decades of Petar's work as a photo-journalist. This drew Pavle to pick up a camera early on.

As with visual arts Pavle had an attraction towards performance since before he could talk. Dancing, singing and acting for family and friends was a daily activity. He also showed a lot of talent in sports, he trained waterpolo for over 7 years, volleyball, rugby, soccer just to name a few. When he moved to Asia later on his fascination in Martial Arts gained action aswell.

When he was 12 he and his family moved to Singapore following his fathers work and for the first time he could study acting in drama class at the Overseas Family School. He did many plays and musicals there, which triggered his interest in music. At 14, Pavle started playing the guitar, drums and writting poetry, he has been composing and performing songs ever since. For his final year of highschool his family moved to Beijing, China and after graduating he stayed in China to advance his Mandarin, travel and learn Shaolin Kung Fu.

After his travels he followed a more direct study of acting for film. First year was in New York City where he studied techniques of acting and script analysis at the New York Film Academy which encouraged him to do his second year in Los Angeles. He completed the Associate of Fine Arts Degree in acting for film from the New York Film Academt and stayed in Los Angeles for profesional acting work. He filmed his first feature film "Killing Joan" two months after graduating from the New york Film Academy, followed by the Serbian blockbuster feature "We Will Be World Champions" directed by award winning director Darko Bajić.

Pavle is currently working on several projects around the world and modeling in China.
